Carnival Corporation and Meyer Werft have agreed to build another cruise ship for Carnival Cruise Line at  Papenburg.

The new 5,282 passenger 344m ship will be a sister to the Carnival Jubilee and is scheduled for delivery in 2027.

The order signifies the recovery of the cruise market and the high demand for sea trips, according to the CEOs of Meyer Group and Carnival Corporation.

Since 2018, Meyer Werft and Meyer Turku have built nine LNG-powered cruise ships for four cruise lines in the Carnival Corporation portfolio on a common technical platform.
