Carnival Cruise Line has cancelled the September 7, 2024 sailing of the Carnival Vista due to ongoing propulsion issues that require the ship to undergo repairs.
The Carnival Vista, which previously faced propulsion challenges in 2019 that necessitated significant out-of-water repairs, is having difficulty maintaining cruising speed, prompting the removal from service.
Passengers affected by the cancellation will receive a full refund for their cruise fare and any pre-purchased amenities, as well as a 100pc future cruise credit that must be redeemed by August 31, 2025.
Independent travellers with non-refundable flights will be eligible for reimbursement of air change fees up to $200 per person, provided they submit the necessary documentation.
