Carnival Cruise Line is to introduce short itineraries for its Excel-class ships in 2027-28, starting with the Mardi Gras from Port Canaveral.
The Carnival Celebration will continue its year-round seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean offerings from Miami throughout 2027-28. Most new sailings will include a visit to Celebration Key, Carnival’s latest exclusive destination.
The Mardi Gras will launch four- and five-day sailing schedules to The Bahamas starting May 22, 2027, including ports like RelaxAway and Half Moon Cay.
The Carnival Festivale will join the Excel-class fleet in spring 2027, followed by Carnival Tropicale in 2028.
Christine Duffy shared “we’re excited to offer more ways to experience these fabulous ships our guests love. Mardi Gras introduced a number of new entertainment and dining options along with the first roller coaster at sea.”
