The Carnival Panorama was rerouted from its original course due to the development of two tropical systems on the West Coast of North America, ensuring passenger safety.
After departing Long Beach on June 7, the cruise is currently on a seven-night journey to the Mexican Riviera, with updated stops including Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta.
Captain Carlo Queirolo provided assurances that despite itinerary changes, the vessel would still visit all original ports, adapting to the trajectory of Tropical Storm Barbara.
Revised shore excursions booked through Carnival will align with the new itinerary to ensure a smooth transition for passengers.
The cruise line will continue closely monitoring weather conditions and giving timely updates on any further necessary changes, reinforcing a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.
Captain Carlo Queirolo shared “In partnership with our fleet center in Miami, we are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Barbara and another tropical system that have developed in the Pacific. Given the track of both storms, we must modify our itinerary to remain a safe distance away,” he added. I’m, however, happy to let you know that, at this time, we will be able to visit all our original ports. We’ll continue to monitor weather forecasts and provide timely updates in case it’s necessary to make additional changes to our itinerary. Thanks for understanding. My team and I remain committed to making your cruise safe, fun and memorable.”
