Carnival Cruise Line has cancelled upcoming sailings on the Carnival Panorama due to propulsion problems. Sailings scheduled for Nov. 11, 18, and 26, as well as Dec. 2, 2023, will not take place.
Passengers booked on these affected sailings will receive a full refund of their cruise fare, along with Future Cruise Credits (FCCs). Passengers on Nov. 11 and Nov. 18 sailings will receive an FCC equivalent to 100pc of the fare paid, while those on Nov. 26 and Dec. 2 departures will receive a 50pc FCC.
The FCCs can be used starting from Nov. 13, 2023, and must be redeemed by Nov. 30, 2024, for any departure open for sale. Carnival will also reimburse non-refundable air change fees up to $200 per person with supporting documentation.
The Carnival Panorama will be taken to drydock for repairs and is expected to return to service on Dec. 9, 2023. It typically offers cruises to the Mexican Riviera, including ports like Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, Ensenada, and La Paz.
