Carnival Sunshine will sail to the Bahamas instead of Bermuda due to Hurricane Erin. The ship modified its itinerary following safety considerations and guidance from its Fleet Operations Center.

It follows other ships that cancelled visits to King’s Wharf includeing Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas and Norwegian Cruise Line’s Aqua and Jewel.

Guests are being offered a $100 onboard credit for their understanding of the weather-related changes. The cruise ship, which departed from Norfolk on August 17, 2025, will now make stops in Nassau and Celebration Key instead of King’s Wharf. Other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line also adjusted their itineraries due to the storm’s approach.
