Carraig Donn has announced a year-long charity partnership with Cancer Fund for Children for 2026, with the Irish retailer committing to raise over €250,000 through multiple fundraising initiatives across its 43 stores and online platform. The partnership supports the charity’s development of Daisy Lodge Mayo, a therapeutic short break centre for families affected by childhood cancer, which is scheduled to open in February 2027.
The retailer has launched a €1 customer donation initiative through the Pennies micro-donation platform across all stores and online, following a successful pilot in the Westport store where over 50pc of customers participated. A charity prize draw in association with Sunway Holidays has already raised more than €5,000, offering customers the chance to win a Spanish holiday and a Carraig Donn styling experience. The company plans to introduce exclusive charity products later in 2026, with proceeds supporting Cancer Fund for Children’s services.
Cancer Fund for Children provides emotional, social and therapeutic support to children, young people and families throughout every stage of a cancer journey across the island of Ireland. The charity delivers support in family homes, communities and hospitals, ensuring no child faces cancer alone. Carraig Donn colleagues across all 43 stores will participate in Tea Days, fashion shows, community events and staff-led initiatives throughout the year.
