Celebrity Cruises honoured travel partners at the annual Travel Agent Appreciation Awards, acknowledging their support and efforts over the past year.
The event was held in London on January 11th, attended by over 80 partners, with Giles Hawke among the hosts celebrating the industry’s commitment.
Nine awards were given to agencies for outstanding contributions including growth, innovation, loyalty, marketing, and customer engagement:
- Cassidy Travel: Significant increase in Celebrity Cruises bookings in the Irish market.
- Oasis Travel: Use of VR technology to showcase Celebrity Cruises and attract new customers.
- Imagine Cruising: Creation of bespoke cruise packages.
- Designer Travel: Robust training via Celebrity’s in-house program ‘Celebrity Cruises for Beginners’.
- Stewart Travel: Demonstrated loyalty and passion for Celebrity Cruises with volume growth.
- Hays Travel: Investment in the cruise industry, Celebrity Cruises endorsement, marketing, and training initiatives.
- Cruise 118: Tenacity and customer engagement leading to growth.
- The Advantage Travel Partnership: Proactive marketing and engaging Celebrity Cruises presence.
- Iglu Cruise: Striving for excellence and seeking growth opportunities.
Giles Hawke said: “2023 was an incredible for Celebrity Cruises, as we ended the year on a high with the launch of our fourth Edge Series ship, the brand-new Celebrity Ascent. We also announced that Celebrity Apex will be homeporting in Southampton for a second year in 2025 – this is testament to the loyalty from our travel partners which contributes to our ever-growing confidence in the English market. We have seen an impressive start to Wave and are looking forward to another great year in 2024.
