CDB Aviation delivers first of two Airbus A321LR aircraft to Icelandair

CDB Aviation has delivered the first of two Airbus A321LR aircraft to Icelandair. The airline signed long-term lease agreements for the two aircraft in January 2024. The second aircraft arrives later in 2026.

The delivery advances Icelandair’s fleet renewal with next-generation aircraft. The A321LR provides range, efficiency and flexibility on transatlantic routes. The aircraft supports the airline’s network strategy.

Icelandair operates a more modern and fuel-efficient fleet through this programme. The A321LR enables competitive product delivery to customers on both sides of the Atlantic. The partnership with CDB Aviation continues with this transaction.
