Celebrity Cruises will focus its 2017 programme on Europe with 40 itineraries and 61 overnight stays in 19 European cities.

The programme will include a two day and overnight stay in Dublin for the first time.

  • Celebrity Reflection will double the amount of sailings offered to Europe, cruising eight 11-night “Best of the Western Mediterranean” itineraries, calling on La Spezia, Villefranche and Gibraltar, with four stops in Spain including an overnight in Barcelona.
  • Celebrity Constellation will sail a selection of nine- and 10-night cruises from Barcelona, Venice and Civitavecchia, including Monaco and Sete, which are new ports of call.
  • Celebrity Silhouette returns to Amsterdam in May and operates cruises from there, Stockholm, Barcelona and Civitavecchia. It will overnight in Dublin on July 25.
  • Celebrity Eclipse will sail cruises of between 8 and 14 nights from Southampton.
  • Celebrity Reflection will sail from Barcelona in October.

The line offers 150 Uniquely Celebrity shore excursions in Europe, including a performance of “Antigone” in Mykonos; a Belgian chocolate workshop in Belgium; a land-and-sea tour of the Italian Riviera; and a visit to the Amber Room of the Catherine Palace in St. Petersburg.

Celebrity will offer five European “Signature Event Sailings” in 2017; one to the French Open tennis tournament in June onboard Celebrity Eclipse, two British Open golf tournament sailings onboard Silhouette in July, and two more Silhouette sailings in August to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Europe-themed offerings will include new culinary programmes and packages, a summer camp for kids and themed sailings and shore excursions.

There will be extra charges for the Taste of Europe Premium Package that includes all specialty dining, wine and cocktails with  Blendtique wine-blending classes, Riedel workshops and the Chef Market Discovery excursion. Classes like pasta- and mozzarella-making (followed by lunch in Tuscan Grille) are available for a fee.

The complimentary Taste of Europe programme offers chef demonstrations, cocktail preparation and “one of the biggest wine tastings at sea.”

Celebrity is introducing its new “Summer Camp at Sea” programme for children with educational programming for cruisers age 3 through 17, including the Creation Station where children can lern chef skills.

Celebrity recently announced a number of new changes and additions to their culinary programme as part of their Celebrity Distinction improvement project.
