Celestyal cancels three more cruises in Europe

Celestyal Cruises has confirmed the cancellation of three additional cruises in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean in early April. Two sailings on the Celestyal Journey and one on the Celestyal Discovery will not proceed. The vessels remain docked in the Middle East while they wait to begin repositioning voyages back to Europe.

The company delayed the repositioning of both the Celestyal Discovery and the Celestyal Journey ahead of the start of their Mediterranean programme. As a result Celestyal cancelled the cruise on the Discovery on 6 April 2026 and two itineraries on the Celestyal Journey. The Celestyal Discovery was scheduled to sail from Lavrion in Greece on a short cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey with visits to Mykonos Kusadasi Patmos Rhodes Heraklion and Santorini.

The Celestyal Journey was set to depart from Piraeus on a weeklong cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean and the Adriatic with stops in Kotor Dubrovnik Bari Corfu Argostoli and Katakolon plus a two week option with additional calls in Greece and Turkey. Guests booked on these departures receive the choice of a full refund or a future cruise credit. Passengers contact their original travel provider to discuss options.

Celestyal shared “due to the current situation Celestyal has delayed the repositioning of both the Celestyal Discovery and the Celestyal Journey ahead of the start of their Mediterranean program. We continue to monitor developments closely and remain focused on resuming our planned program as soon as possible.”
