DCU Business School awarded the first DAA Aviation Scholarship to Chloe Smith, a fourth-year Aviation Management student achieved the highest marks in her third-year assignments.
Having completed a seven-month INTRA internship with Air Nav Ireland in air traffic management,Ms Smith joined the DCU Aviation Society and participated in aviation-related trips. She plans to pursue pilot training and fly transatlantic routes for Aer Lingus.
Chloe Smith shared “I’ve always wanted to be a pilot; I don’t remember ever wanting to do anything else. The course really offers something for everyone, whether you want to go into piloting, air traffic control or aviation business. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the daa for my scholarship. It was a proud moment to be recognised for my work — and it’s motivated me to push myself even further.”
