CLIA membership up 4pc on 2023 to record levels

Accredited agents who completed a minimum of the first level of CLIA training courses increased by 22pc year-on-year.

CLIA sold out its main April and May events in England and Ireland, including the Expedition Cruise event in Dublin, an Expedition Summit in Greenwich, and River Cruise Dinner in Glasgow.

Two new webinar series, ‘Focus On’ and ‘In Conversation’, attracted record audiences, with the next In Conversation episode scheduled for April 25. The annual CLIA Conference in Southampton will host a record-breaking 800+ delegates and include ship visits, conference sessions, an industry fair, and evening events with attendees visiting two ships over consecutive days. Andy Harmer of CLIA said: “This will be a landmark year for the industry, with the trade riding on the crest of a wave, and I’d like to thank everyone for their positivity and enthusiasm.”

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) England and Ireland had a record-breaking first quarter of the year in terms of membership, up by 4pc from 2023 and at its highest level.
