Clontarf Castle profits rise by 50pc to €3m

Clontarf Castle experienced a significant increase in operating profit, rising by 50pc to €3m, with a total turnover of €14.3m.

The venue’s financial success allowed for a €2m dividend payout to its owners, the Houlihan family.

Major revenue contributions included €7.4m from accommodation, €4.2m from food, and €2m from beverages.

Owner Gerard Houlihan recently sold his DID Electrical chain, reflecting a strategic shift in his business portfolio.
