Club Med, aiming to offer exclusively premium products from 2024, plans to transform its entire portfolio to 4-Trident (4 star) and Exclusive Collection (5 star) resorts and is aspiring to open three to five new properties each year.
It will introduce a first-of-its-kind beach and safari resort, Club Med Tinley, in South Africa in 2026. The resort will offer guests a surf-lifestyle concept and the opportunity to stay on a Big Five Game Reserve and go on a safari.
Club Med Gramado, set to open in 2025 in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, will be the brand’s first Exclusive Collection resort in South America. The resort will aim to showcase the local culture and expand the destination’s international reach.
Opening in 2025, Club Med Borneo, Malaysia, is an eco-friendly resort harmoniously blending with the surrounding woods and sea, whilst maintaining luxury and comfort. The resort is set to be BREEAM and Green Globe certified, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to sustainable development.
