The Royal Irish Academy hosts a lecture by Sarah Hendriks on 8th October 2025 at 3:00 p.m., exploring 700 years of collecting Irish historical manuscripts.
The lecture, part of the Dublin Festival of History, collaborates with the Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland to discuss reconstructing the Public Record Office archive destroyed in 1922.
On 22nd October 2025 at 6:00 p.m., the Academy launches the RIA A060 Guild of St Anne Collection, a digital resource on medieval Irish life.
The Guild of St Anne Collection includes digitised deeds from St Audoen’s church, Cornmarket, Dublin, with Dr. Ludwig Bieler’s unpublished English calendar.
