Conaty Food and Catering Supplies has acquired Irish Distributors Ltd based in Bray as part of its growth strategy, aiming to achieve revenues exceeding €50 million in 2023.
The acquisition will enhance Conaty’s hygiene product offerings, which have seen increased demand following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chief Executive Cathal Conaty indicated a focus on future acquisitions within the Leinster area to strengthen the company’s foodservice and hygiene operations.
In addition to the acquisition, Conaty plans to build an 80,000 sq ft depot to support its expansion and create new jobs, with funding sourced from company resources and banking support.
