
Dublin Aerospace reported a 45pc increase in pre-tax profits for the year, reaching €3.28m, driven by a 23pc rise in revenues to €54.63m as of September 2023.
Founded by aviation entrepreneur Conor McCarthy, the company focuses on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and components, with its operations based at Dublin Airport.
The directors noted significant improvements in auxiliary power unit (APU) overhaul and a positive outcome in the landing-gear business unit, despite facing some resource challenges during the year.
The company employed 368 people in 2023, a decrease of 13 from the previous year, with increased staff costs impacting overall finances; the post-tax profit stood at €2.9m after accounting for corporation tax.
