
Construction of the Narrow Water Bridge, a €60m project, is set to begin in the coming weeks with BAM Ireland awarded the contract for the 620m cable-stayed bridge.
Work is to be completed over a three-year period. BAM Ireland is a wholly owned wholly-owned subsidiary of the Royal BAM Group (RBG) of the Netherlands and is construction company building the National Children’s Hospital.
Other bridge projects in Ireland including the Rathoath overbridge in Dublin, the River Suir Bridge in Waterford and the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge, which opened in Co Kilkenny in 2020 and is Ireland’s longest bridge.
