Contracts have been signed for the Grand Canal Urban Greenway project in Tullamore, funded under the URDF, which will link the Grand Canal Greenway to Tullamore Town Centre

The project includes construction of a 2.6km urban section from Convent View to Cox’s Bridge and the 28th Lock to Sragh Bridge

The works involve widening footpaths, undergrounding cables, street enhancements, new paving, road realignment, and more

Completion of the project will connect previous works by Offaly County Council, boosting tourism and enhancing local amenities in Tullamore.
