Cork has been shortlisted to host the 2026 congress of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations.The Munster capital is up against Japan, Malaysia and the Philippines.
The announcement was made at the AGM o the Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland.
The pitch will be made to all WFTGA members at the Convention in Siracusa Sicily in January when the venue for 2026 will be announced.
