Corlea Trackway is hosting Féile na Samhna, from 25 October to 2 November 2025, celebrating the Celtic new year at the ancient heritage site in Longford.
Events include family craft workshops, archaeology mini-digs, and the Boohoo Scary Dress Ball. Adult offerings feature a talk on Samhain origins, a Dark Spirits Bog Tour, and Celtic Tree Spirits workshop.
The festival strengthens Longford’s role in the Ireland: Home of Halloween initiative, boosting local tourism. The Solstice Choir and Bat Walk connect the event to the bog’s natural and cultural rhythms.
