Costa moves 3 cruise ships to South America

Costa Cruises will deploy three ships, the Costa Diadema, the Costa Pacifica, and the Costa Favolosa, in South America during the 2024-25 season.

The Costa Diadema will offer new itineraries sailing between Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay, with regular cruises to Buenos Aires and Montevideo.

The Costa Pacifica will return to Brazil after a four-year gap and offer domestic cruises from Santos and Rio de Janeiro, including visits to popular destinations like Ilhabela and Búzios. It will anchor off Santos on December 31st to watch the New Years fireworks.

The Costa Favolosa will cruise between Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, with an eight-night itinerary that includes visits to Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires.
