Cunard says it will begin charging for room service in Britannia grade staterooms across its four-ship fleet.
Guests will incur charges for room service dishes ordered after 10:00 AM, while breakfast items served before this time will remain complimentary.
Cunard reassured guests that dining at the buffet, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the main dining rooms, continues to be included in the cruise fare.
Recently, the Queen Elizabeth underwent a major refurbishment, with updated staterooms and enhanced public areas after emerging from drydock in March 2025.
Guests in Grills suites now enjoy new features including an exclusive Gala Evening menu curated by Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux, which aims to elevate the culinary experience on board.
The company shared: “We are writing to inform you of a change in our room service onboard. Across the fleet, we are introducing new charges that will apply to room service dishes served after 10:00 AM in Britannia grade staterooms. Of course, you’re welcome to dine at the buffet, where you’ll find a selection of dishes throughout the day and into the night, all included in your fare. The three-course menu offers curated dishes designed to celebrate the finest culinary experiences at sea.”
