Silversea Cruises’ latest ship, the 728-passenger Silver Ray, will have its float today February 25 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

The float out was delayed from the initial February 24 schedule due to weather conditions.

After the float out, the Silver Ray will be transferred to the equipment/outfitting pier for remaining work before its launch this summer as the cruise line’s second Nova Class ship, with its maiden voyage in June and an inaugural season in Europe with various itineraries.
