
Donald Trump declared income of €13m from his Doonbeg golf course and hotel in Co Clare, which includes €6.4m from the hotel operations.
The financial filings estimate the value of the Doonbeg resort to be between $25m and $50m, with the hotel valued between $1m and $5m.
In previous filings, the hotel’s income was recorded at €7.3m, contributing to an overall resort income of €15.2m during a 16-month period starting January 2023.
Trump acquired the Doonbeg resort in 2014 out of receivership for approximately €8.7m, investing a further €30m. The resort provides employment for about 350 people and is said to be worth about €10m a year to the local economy.
The 2023 accounts indicate that operating profits for Trump International Golf Limited Ireland Enterprises exceeded €2m, with revenues increasing from €14.36m to €16.12m, marking a record year for the business.
The income at Mr Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland is listed as being just over £24m.
