Dublin Airport’s Community Fund has reached €2.5m in funding for north Dublin community clubs and groups, with an additional €250,000 available in the new autumn funding round open until October 25.

In 2023, the fund distributed over €540,000 to 111 local groups and an earlier €250,000 to more than 50 projects in its spring round.

Launched in 2017 with a total investment of €10 million over 25 years, the fund accepts applications twice a year for Minor Grants (under €5,000) and Major Grants (over €5,000) from specific areas around Dublin Airport.

The fund supports local initiatives in categories such as environment, health, and social inclusion, and also aids students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through its Access Programme to Dublin City University.
