
Viking’s newest vessel, named Viking Vesta, is set to enter service in mid-2025. It will be slightly larger than Viking’s previous newbuilds.
The Viking Vesta will have additional staterooms, increasing its capacity to 998 guests. It will be ten metres longer and two meters wider than its predecessors.
The ship’s inaugural itinerary includes cruises in the Mediterranean from Barcelona, offering voyages to destinations such as the Greek Islands, the French Riviera, and the Adriatic Sea.
The Viking Vesta will also offer cruises to Northern Europe and Iceland, featuring destinations in Iceland, Portugal, Spain, England, and Ireland. It is designed as an all-veranda small ship with various onboard facilities and amenities, including a wellness centre, specialty restaurants, and an Owner’s Suite.
