Estramadura’s Cáceres to host Irish Fleadh on September 19-21

The Cáceres Irish Fleadh is scheduled for September 19-21, 2025, in Cáceres, featuring traditional Irish music.

La Palma Irish Fleadh will occur on the weekend of October 17, 18, and 19, 2025, in Santa Cruz de la Palma.

For over two decades, Cáceres has hosted this lively festival, showcasing performances at historic locations including the Plaza de la Concatedral de Santa María and the Palacio de Carvajal.

The festival offers workshops and conferences alongside musical performances in bars and pubs throughout the city.

Attendees will include

  • Francisco Palomino (Director General, Regional Government of Extremadura)
  • Rafael Mateos (Mayor of Cáceres)
  • Paula Almonacid (Chief of Staff, Cáceres City Hall)
  • Beatriz Páez (Island Director of Tourism, La Palma) and guest

And three representatives from the Embassy of Spain in Ireland

  • María Rodríguez de la Rúa (Counsellor, Spanish Economic and Commercial in Dublin)

Estramadura’s is among the least visited of the provinces in Spain by tourists from Ireland.
