Etihad Airways will resume flights to Nairobi, Kenya, starting 15 December 2024, with four nonstop flights per week between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi.
The airline reported an AED 851m (£183m) profit for the first half of the year, a 48pc year-on-year increase driven by strong passenger and cargo revenue, with plans to introduce A380 services to Singapore from February 2025.
Etihad’s fourth A380 aircraft will fly daily between Abu Dhabi and Singapore, replacing the current Boeing 787-10 on the route, aiming to boost capacity following increased demand for travel.
The airline will increase flights to Thailand from the start of the winter schedules, offering a total of 41 weekly services to the country, including three flights per day to Bangkok and 20 flights per week to Phuket.
