Exodus Adventure Travels has appointed MMGY Grifco as its England PR agency. MMGY Grifco leads the company’s England press office, media relations, thought leadership and strategic campaigns. The appointment builds on Exodus’ existing relationship with MMGY in North America, where MMGY PR handles the company’s public relations programme and MMGY manages its media activity.

The teams deliver a connected international approach across England and the US, sharing campaign platforms, research, media intelligence, stories and creative assets. The England programme supports Exodus’ ambition to become the country’s most recognised and trusted expert-led adventure travel brand. Activity focuses on building greater awareness, distinctiveness and consideration among affluent, experience-led travellers, while reinforcing Exodus’ position in premium, experience-led small-group adventure travel.

At the heart of the communications strategy is Exodus’ core brand promise, It’s more extraordinary with Exodus. A central priority is differentiating Exodus in a competitive adventure travel sector by demonstrating the value of travelling in small groups with local guides. MMGY Grifco brings this positioning to life by showing how Exodus takes curious travellers beyond sightseeing through curated itineraries, authentic local experiences and local guides who bring specialist knowledge across areas including wildlife, mountains, cycling, history and archaeology, sharing local stories and perspectives that enable travellers to connect more deeply with destinations, cultures and communities. 

PR activity supports Exodus’ priority growth areas, including solo and female travel, cycling and e-biking, premium experiences and new multi-activity adventures. The role tourism can play in supporting people, places and nature remains part of the story, showcasing how Exodus works with locally run accommodation, family-owned restaurants and community experiences, alongside the conservation and community projects funded by the Exodus Adventure Travels Foundation. Exodus’ small and friendly groups typically comprise up to 16 travellers, bringing together couples, friends and solo travellers with a shared curiosity about the world. Its customer base is educated, inquisitive and experience-led, with 40pc travelling solo, 56pc female and 49pc returning customers. The company’s network of award-winning local and international guides is consistently rated 4.75 by customers, while 97pc of customers say they would travel with Exodus again. Exodus is a certified B Corporation and supports community and conservation initiatives through the Exodus Adventure Travels Foundation.
