
Fincantieri has confirmed Pierroberto Folgiero as chief executive officer and managing director following a decision made by the newly appointed Board of Directors.
The Board was established during the Shareholders’ Meeting and will remain in place until the approval of the financial statements for 2027.
Chairman Biagio Mazzotta will manage institutional representation, corporate security, and the internal control and risk management system, while Folgiero will oversee company operations, including business plans and annual budgets.
Jointly, the Chairman and CEO will handle communication, institutional relations, and Fincantieri’s national and international strategies aimed at growth.
The Board includes several independent Directors who meet the necessary integrity and professional standards, adhering to the maximum number of offices allowed under Italian law and the Corporate Governance Code.

The company shared: “The Board also confirmed that all Directors meet the required integrity and professional standards and comply with eligibility criteria.” Folgiero shared responsibilities stating that the Board will handle “business plans and annual budgets, as well as ordinary and extraordinary management.”
