The 2024 Guinness Cork Jazz Festival has announced Gregory Porter as its first headline act.

Gregory Porter is a renowned jazz artist and has won two Grammy Awards.

The festival will kick off with Porter’s performance at the Cork Opera House on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

This will be Porter’s first return to Ireland in seven years, with his last show in Dublin in 2017.

The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival is a prominent event on the Irish music calendar, attracting nearly 100,000 people every year.

The festival features over 1000 musicians from more than 20 countries and includes a Guinness Music Trail in various venues across Cork city.

Tickets for Gregory Porter’s performance go on sale on Wednesday, December 20 at 12 pm.
