Hotel prices in Paris during the 2024 Olympics have increased by 282pc from the usual summer rates, a year ahead of the games.
Data from Google Paris rates €650 a night for a three-star hotel, compared with around €170 for a typical July stay, according to. Prices for four-star hotels are hitting around €900 during the Olympics, up from the usual €250.
The city expects 11m million visitors during the Olympics, 3.3m of whom will need accommodation. Paris tourism office estimates there are 280,000 available rooms across the greater Paris region.
