Victory Cruise Lines named their newest ship Victory II in Chicago at Navy Pier on May 12, 2025, with Godmother Molly Applegate officiating.

John Waggoner, the founder and CEO of Victory Cruise Lines, led the event, marking the full return of the cruise line, following the christening of sister ship Victory I in Toronto on April 27, 2025.

Both ships are specially designed for cruising the Great Lakes, offering an alternative to traditional river and ocean cruises.

Victory Cruise Lines is unique for docking at Chicago’s downtown Navy Pier and will operate 33 cruises in 2025 that explore all five Great Lakes in one voyage.
