Hainan Airlines will commence nonstop flights from Haikou to London Heathrow starting on 7 May 2025, with flights operating weekly on Wednesdays.
Departures from Haikou are scheduled for 1340, arriving in London at 1930, while the return flight leaves Heathrow at 2200 and lands back in Haikou at 1705 the following day.
This new service adds to Hainan’s existing twice-weekly Haikou-Changsha-Heathrow one-stop flights, both operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The Dreamliners feature a two-class configuration, with 30 lie-flat business class seats and 262 economy class seats.
Hainan also plans to resume its nonstop service from Beijing to Oslo in March, while a new service from Frankfurt to Sanya in Hainan is anticipated to begin in July.
