Hurtigruten Expeditions (HX) has made three further appointments to strengthen their trade partnerships and provide support to their travel agency partners:

  • Expertise and Experience: Hayley Van Der Steen and Sophie Nelson join as Trade Partnership Managers, bringing with them extensive experience in the travel and hospitality sector. Hayley has a strong network of trade contacts and firsthand experience onboard cruise ships, while Sophie has excelled in driving revenue and managing relationships with major partners in European markets.
  • Trade Partner Support: Hayley and Sophie will focus on managing various aspects with travel agency partners, including commercial and marketing support, system integration, product knowledge, and training. Their goal is to equip agents with the necessary tools to increase their expedition cruise business with HX.
  • Sales Support and Incentives: Megan Lewis joins as HX’s Inside Sales Executive, providing sales support to trade partners. Megan will facilitate front line incentives, organise ship visits, and arrange FAM (familiarization) trips for trade agents. Her six years of experience in the cruise industry will contribute to smooth business operations.
