The Henley passport index has declared Singapore the world’s most powerful passport with a record score of 195 travel destinations visa-free.
France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain are joint-second with access to 192 destinations without a visa.
Ireland, Austria, Finland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, South Korea, and Sweden sit together in 3rd place on the ranking, which is based on exclusive and official data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The US has dropped to 28th place with visa-free access to 186 destinations, continuing a decade-long slide.
The UAE has entered the Top 40 for the first time, rising 53 places in ranking, while Venezuela and Yemen saw significant declines.
The Passe/Port index places Ireland in the third group (173) with UAE top. The
Nomad index places the Irish passport fourth in the world with UAE top. The
Visaguide index places the Irish Passport 14th and has Italy top.
