Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) says the Norwegian Aqua, the first ship in the expanded Prima Plus Class, will debut in April 2025. This new class of ships will offer brand-new guest experiences and will be 10pc larger and have a higher capacity than sister ships.
Guests can now book voyages on the Norwegian Aqua to the Caribbean, with seven-day itineraries departing from Port Canaveral, Fla. The itineraries include stops at various destinations, such as Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), Tortola (British Virgin Islands), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), and NCL’s private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay.

The Norwegian Aqua will feature a lively and colourful hull art design entitled “Where the Sky Meets the Sea,” created by Oakland based Allison Hueman, NCL’s first-ever major female hull artist. Hueman is known for her street art and collaborations with global brands like Nike, L’Oreal, and Google. Her artwork on the Norwegian Aqua represents a fusion of abstract and figurative representations of the sea and sky, inspired by ancient goddesses.
