Hurtigruten menu for 2024: submerged bubbles and award winning cheese

World’s Best Cheese at the 2023 World Cheese Awards is Nidelven Blå, a cheese by Gangstand Gårdsysteri carried onboard Hurtigruten’s coastal express ships, has been named 

The cheese is available onboard the ships at their main restaurants and is part of a selection of products from Gangstand Gårdsysteri, including ice cream and sorbet.

Hurtigruten runs a Norwegian Coastal Kitchen concept, highlighting local Norwegian produce; 80pc of all food served onboard is locally sourced.

The brand recently launched a unique sparkling wine concept, Bubbles of the Sea, wherein bottles are submerged off the Norwegian coast before being served onboard. Following a successful trial, another 4,500 bottles were recently submerged.
