Both sides in the pay dispute between Aer Lingus management and the Irish Airline Pilots’ Association have made written submissions to the Labour Court in advance of a hearing this afternoon.

The Labour Court will issue a recommendation following the hearing.

The ongoing work-to-rule by IALPA members at Aer Lingus remains in place despite the court’s request for no escalation of the dispute.

The industrial action has led to the cancellation of 392 flights, with both sides urged to find a resolution by Taoiseach Simon Harris and the Labour Court intervening in the dispute.
