Talks between Aer Lingus and its pilot union, the Irish Airline Pilots’ Association (IALPA), are scheduled to begin to negotiate a pay deal.
The union, representing almost 800 Aer Lingus pilots, has rejected proposals from an independent pay tribunal and the Labour Court.
The negotiations have been ongoing for months as both sides seek to come to an agreement to avoid potential strike action.
The outcome of the discussions will be critical in determining whether a strike will be called by the pilots.
