
A third volcanic eruption has started in Iceland, about 10 miles southwest of Keflavik International Airport.
Flights are operating as usual despite the eruption.
The Blue Lagoon, a popular tourist attraction, has closed and will remain closed through Monday, February 12 at least.
A statement said: “We will continue to closely follow the guidelines and recommendations of the authorities, working collaboratively with them to monitor the progression of events,” wrote park officials on their website. “This commitment aligns with our unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our valued guests and staff.”
