International visits into Ireland are forecast to grow by 3.4pc this year and 5.9pc in 2025, according to a report by Oxford Economics.
Hotel sector occupancy and revenue per room (RevPar) data remained strong in the first half of the year, with overall occupancy rates ranging from 77pc to 84pc across major Irish cities on a 12-month rolling basis.
In Dublin, occupancy levels consistently stood at around 80pc, while RevPar remained stable nationally, although room rates were slightly lower in Dublin and slightly higher in regional areas.
The data indicates a positive outlook for the hospitality sector in Ireland, supported by expected growth in international visits and solid performance in occupancy and revenue metrics.
