Irish Ferries has introduced ‘Pet Den’ lounges on up to 12 daily sailings between Ireland and Wales, accommodating an average of 15 to 18 pets including dogs, cats, and ferrets.
The amenities come at no additional cost and provide seating, leash hooks, water dispensers, and a snacks and beverages lounge service in a dedicated space.
Outdoor deck walkway areas have been designated for pets, complete with artificial grass and posts for comfort and exercise.
Stena Line has implemented a pet lounge on its Belfast to Cairnryan route while Brittany Ferries continues to expand pet-friendly options, including cabins and promenade areas.
