
Irish Ferries vessel Isle of Innisfree has docked in Pembroke after changing its emergency route from Fishguard to Dublin.
The journey from Dublin took 6 hours and 30 minutes, traveling at a speed of 18.2 knots.
The Isle of Innisfree, a 33-year-old Passenger/Ro-Ro Cargo Ship, constructed in 1992 which sails under the flag of Cyprus, has a capacity of 1,850 passengers and 700 vehicles covering 1,745 lane metres, compared with the Ulysses capacity of 1,938 passengers and 1,342 cars or 241 trucks covering 4,076 lane metres.
Passengers are advised to check the updated ferry schedules for their travel plans as the service transitions berths.
Irish Ferries shared: A re-opening of the Port of Holyhead is now anticipated on 16 January 2025, subject to reasonable weather conditions.
