James Goff from Wicklow dies in heli-skiing accident

James Goff from Wicklow, of the equestrian family, has died in a helicopter crash on the Petit Combin mountain in the Swiss Alps while on a heli-skiing trip.

The crash resulted in three fatalities, including the pilot Jerome Lovey and the guide Adam George, while three others were injured.

James Goff was the son of the owners of the Ballinacor Estate in Co. Wicklow, and had previously worked for the United Nations in Zimbabwe and Lebanon before the tragic accident.
