The National Geographic Gemini has begun service with Lindblad-National Geographic Expeditions in the Galapagos, following its acquisition in late 2024.
Formerly known as the Xpedition, the 100-guest vessel underwent refurbishment in Panama earlier this year, ready to offer year-round expeditions.
The ship’s ten-night packages will include itineraries visiting islands within the Galapagos National Park, allowing guests to engage with the area’s unique wildlife.
Activities aboard the Gemini encompass paddleboarding, zodiac cruises, and glass-bottom boat tours, enhancing the exploration experience.
Lindblad-National Geographic aims to increase capacity and attract more first-time visitors to the region, positioning the Gemini as its fourth ship in the Galapagos, alongside its other vessels.
