Dublin’s Little Pyg restaurant represented Ireland at the prestigious World Pizza Awards held in Naples, marking a historic achievement as the first Irish pizzeria to secure a spot in the top global rankings.
Earlier this year, Little Pyg was recognized as Ireland’s number one pizzeria and ranked 15th in Europe at the Pizza Europa awards, which led to their selection to compete at the World Pizza Awards.
The restaurant has now been officially named the #1 pizza establishment in Ireland and ranks 78th globally among the top 100 pizzerias.
This achievement highlights Little Pyg’s remarkable quality and standards, as over 2,000 independent judges reviewed approximately 500,000 pizza restaurants to ensure a high level of impartiality in the awards process.
