London based Archer Hotel Capital is in the final stages of acquiring the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin from current owners Kennedy Wilson.
The Shelbourne Hotel is a historic cultural landmark and a five-star hotel, known for hosting presidents, royalty, artists, writers, and film stars.
Kennedy Wilson acquired the debt secured by the hotel in 2014, and since then, has completed extensive refurbishments and value-added initiatives.
Kennedy Wilson was considering a sale of the hotel for €260m or a disposal of a 50pc share in the property, according to a report in December.
